Game date: Nov 27th, 2022 - Hellfish vs Titans
After reviewing reports and videos, the Disciplinary Committee has decided to hand out a 10 game suspension to Mr. Andrew Rueger for his actions, a breakdown of which is as follows:-
1. Goalie intentionally swinging stick to hit player mid body level when the player had no puck possession, his back was turned and unable to avoid or defend himself - 2 games
2. Leaving the crease to purposely attack opposing player / instigating a fight. Goalie sped up and launched himself at the other player aiming for head area close to the boards - total disregard of safety - 4 games
3. Holding goalie stick as a weapon to hit or attempt to hit another player at the upper head area including swinging the stick up and down disregarding player safety - 4 games
The actions of Mr. Rueger were dangerous and reckless with total disregard for players' safety. HKAHC will not tolerate this kind of behavior. Mr. Rueger will be suspended for 10 games and will miss the remaining games of the regular season. During the suspension period, Mr. Rueger will not be able to LPP for any other teams within the division. Mr. Rueger will be eligible to return for the first game of playoffs on March 12th, 2022.
