HKAHC Donates $220,280 to Help China Earthquake Victims
HKAHC has raised a total of $220,280 for victims of Sichuan earthquake from fellow club members, volunteers, sponsors and the first ever cross-strait amateur ice hockey tournament in Hong Kong. The donations include $180,000 from our Chairman Thomas Wu, $15,000 from Sam Wai Plastic Toy Company, $9,000 from the annual award presentation dinner and the remainder from fellow players and volunteer photographers. The donations will be remitted to relief organizations via the Hong Kong SAR Government Home Affairs Bureau’s special relief account . Tax exemption receipts are being arranged for those who have made a request.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all who have participated in this meaningful and worthwhile course of action. Thank you very, very much.
香港業餘冰球會為四川地震籌得賑災善款22萬港元
香港業餘冰球會的四川地震賑災籌款行動為災民籌得善款共達220,280港元，慷慨解囊的善心人士包括本會主席胡文新先生贊助香港首屆兩岸四地業餘冰球賽冠軍錦標賽捐款180,000元；三威塑膠玩具公司捐出15,000港元；本會周年頒獎晚宴會員及親友參加費用9,000港元；及個別會員和志願攝影師等捐出的16,280元。全部善款將存入香港政府民政事務局賑災戶口轉交各賬災機構。可扣稅的捐款收條將按個別善長的要求於稍後時間送上。
本會謹此向參與及支持這次賑災籌款行動的所有人士致以衷心謝意。
The Hong Kong Academy of Ice Hockey Summer Program
Coach Barry Beck will be holding summer courses for beginners and players already playing organized hockey. Courses will be held during the summer months of July and August.

Beginner 1
This course helps students improve their overall ability. Balance, stopping, turning, fun games and hockey sticks are incorporated into this program. Ages 5-9
