Information Note for Participants
of 2007 HKAHC Macau Exhibition Games
19 & 20 May 2007
- Dear Macau Games Participants,
- Welcome to the 2007 HKAHC Macau Exhibition Games to be held in the standard sized ice rink at Macau Dome on 19 & 20 May 2007.
- Following are some important points to note:
- Team Roster – The roster has been uploaded to our website at: http//www.hkahc.com.
- Game Schedule – The game schedule has been uploaded to our website at: http//www.hkahc.com.
- Hockey Skills Clinic – The skills clinic will be held on Sunday, 20 May 2007 at 3:40 pm and 4:40 pm respectively. Each session is one hour. Those who have registered to take part please stay behind at the rink.
- Logistics –
- Boat Schedule & Tickets:
- The boat schedule for players and their accompanying family members or guests is has been sent out by email.
- Please make sure you arrive at the ferry pier in sufficient time to catch the scheduled ferry to and from Macau. Those who miss the scheduled ferry would have to make own arrangements for their journeys.
- Tickets once issued are non-refundable and non-changeable.
- Please accept our sincere apology if we are not able to accommodate players and their guests in the same ferry. Players accompanied by elderly, kids or pregnant wives will have priority.
- Ferry tickets will not be available from our sponsors until Monday, 14 May 2007 at the earliest. Therefore, tickets will only be available for pick-up by members from Tuesday, 15 May 2007 onward at the HKAHC office at 64/F, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong during office hours. They may also be picked up from Bengy at the Dragon Centre ice rink on Tuesday, 15 May 2007 evening from 8 pm to 11 pm. Please call or email Bengy should you have any questions or any suggestions about collecting the tickets such as arrangement for your team representative to collect all the tickets for the entire team members, etc. Thank you again for your understanding.
- Ground Transportation in Macau:
- Upon their respective arrival in Macau, players and accompanying family members or guests will be transferred to the Macau Dome by pre-arranged buses as hotel rooms are not normally ready for taking up until 3:00 pm.
- HKAHC has also made special arrangements, with the generous sponsorship of a stern supporter of HKAHC, for free shuttle buses to operate between the rink and the official hotel in Taipa (Hotel Taipa Square) during the games on both days.
- Participants may also call a taxi if they so wish. The taxi fare from hotel to the Macau Dome or vice versa is about $30. Taxi service hotlines are: (853) 2851-9519 or 2893-9939.
- Travel Document, Travel Insurance, Rink Pass, Equipment & Others
- Please remember to bring your HKID card or travel document
- Ferry duty staff may require you to check in over-sized hockey equipment or bags should the ferry be full or overloaded. You will also have to pay a fee. Please kindly cooperate with them.
- You are advised to buy your own travel insurance as appropriate. HKAHC is not responsible for this item.
- All participants and their accompanying guests will be given a “Pass” for entering the rink area. Please carry them with you all the time.
- Players may leave their equipment in the changing room of the rink after their games on Saturday.
- Players are reminded to bring along blade guards because most of the areas in the rink including the changing room are not covered with mat.
- The Opening Ceremony will be held on the rink on Saturday, 19 May at 12:30 pm. All participants and their accompanying guests are cordially invited to attend to support HKAHC and fellow players from Macau and Hong Kong.
- Official Hotel (Hotel Taipa Square)
- Kindly note that the check-in time on Saturday, 19 May 2007 is 3:00 pm and the check-out time is 12-noon on Sunday, 20 May 2007.
- After checking out on Sunday, players may leave their luggage at the concierge.
- There are free shuttle bus service between the official hotel and the ferry pier.

2007澳門冰球表演賽參賽者需知
- 各位參賽者：
- 本年度澳門冰球表演賽將於2007年5月19及20日假澳門東亞運動會體育館溜冰場舉辦，得到各位的踴躍參與，高興萬分。
- 為使出席者清楚該活動行程及細節，要點明細如下︰
- 隊員名單 – 名單已上載於本會網頁http//www.hkahc.com
- 賽程表 - 賽程表已上載於本會網頁http//www.hkahc.com
- 球術講授班 – 「球術講授班」將安排於5月20日﹙星期日﹚分別在下午3時40分及下午4時40分兩個時段進行，每節授課1小時。已登記者請仍留在冰場上等候安排
- 流程 ︰
- 船期及票務安排
- 隊員參賽者的船期安排將會由電郵個別通知
- 請各位務必要預備充足時間抵達碼頭﹙包括啟程及回程﹚。任何時間失誤者，需自行負責其個人船務安排
- 船票一經發送，一概不接受辦理退票或更改手續
- 因航班票務緊張，若未能為每位隊友安排與同行親友於同一航程出發，敬請見諒。當然我們會盡量避免此情況出現，惟在選擇下我們會讓攜伴長者、小孩及孕婦的隊友獲得優先權。
- 贊助船公司通知最早可於5月15日提供船票，請各位已登記的隊友可選擇於︰5月15日星期二後前往香港業餘冰球會辦事處﹙香港灣仔皇后大道東183號合和中心64樓﹚或 於5月16日晚上8時至11時前往西九龍溜冰場從Bengy Hui處領取船票。請各位以電郵或電話與Bengy 聯絡個別取票或派代表取票。
- 澳門當地交通安排︰
- 因酒店房間一般登記時間約於下午3時正，當抵達澳門後，大會將安排車輛由澳門碼頭接載各位前往溜冰場。
- 因獲得一位熱心贊助者對本球會的慷慨支持，大會將特別安排免費穿越巴士於5月19及20日比賽時段內行走冰場及指定酒店﹙駿景酒店﹚，供參賽者與同行親友享用。
- 如有需要，參加者亦可電召計程車，電話︰2851-9519 或 2893-9939。車程由冰場往駿景酒店約需$30
- 請各位務必帶備有效身份證明或旅遊証件
- 任何乘客如有攜帶大型行李﹙如冰球用具的球袋﹚上船，船公司有權要求乘客繳付行李超重費，請各隊友留意及予以合作及支付所需費用。
- 每位隊友與同行親友需自行購買個人旅遊保險，香港業餘冰球會概不負責。
- 大會將給每位隊友與同行親友派發『比賽入場証』，請各位於冰場範圍內配戴
- 5月19日球賽後，各隊友可把冰球配備裝置存放於冰場更衣室內
- 各隊友緊記攜帶溜冰鞋保護套，因冰場內﹙包括更衣室﹚範圍均未有蓋上膠墊
- 開幕禮將於5月19日下午12時30分假澳門東亞運動會體育館溜冰場舉行，歡迎所有參賽者及同行親友在場一同參與，大力支持。
- 請注意酒店房間登記時間為5月19日下午3時正， 退房時間為5月20日中午12時正。
