HKAHC assists on the shooting of "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" – 2010-07-13

HKAHC continues to use different forms of media and different channels to promote Ice Hockey in Hong Kong.

HKAHC was invited to assist on the shooting of the movie “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart”, directed by Johnny To. Our council member, Matthew Cheung was consulted on the movie shoot by providing knowledge of ice hockey to the leading character Daniel Ng and the crew. The movie premiered March, 2011.

We believe this was a good opportunity to promote the sport of Ice Hockey to the general public, not only Hong Kong but also around the region, through films.

香港業餘冰球會協助拍攝電影「單身男女」- 2010-07-13

香港業餘冰球會一直致力從不同媒介來介紹冰球運動，希望讓大眾能對冰球有更多的認識和興趣。

球會被邀請協助拍攝由導演杜琪峰先生執導電影「單身男女」。球會理事張駿先生更親自落場，向電影主角吳彥祖及一眾工作人員教授冰球技術及提供場面指導。而本會亦有10多位熱心球員共同參與拍攝是次拍攝工作。

電影在2011年三月在本地以至亞洲不同地區上映。我們深信透過電影銀幕，可將冰球運動帶給更多香港，以至大中華的普羅大眾，讓更多人認識及參與冰球。
