中銀保誠資產管理 2010香港業餘冰球會國際業餘冰球邀請賽
加拿大迪爾達警察 嘗願奪金盃
 (香港2010年9月19日) ─「中銀保誠資產管理 2010香港業餘冰球會國際業餘冰球邀請賽」今日在MegaBox溜冰場圓滿結束，3屆金盃組亞軍加拿大迪爾達警察終打破宿命，決賽以6:0大勝日本三菱商事，從中銀保誠資產管理行政總裁麥達彰先生手上捧走冠軍金盃。

儘管加拿大迪爾達警察在早上的金盃分組賽以3：4不敵日本三菱商事，令同組3隊連同台灣國際冰球學校同得1勝1負，但加拿大迪爾達警察及日本三菱商事以較佳得失球晉級，再在下午決賽碰頭。

開賽6分鐘，迪爾達警察趁三菱商事主將奧村隆誠被停罰4分鐘時，由隊長Dominic Cupello先開紀錄，首節完前2分半鐘，Jace Lambertsen協助迪爾達警察領先至2:0。

第2節初段三菱商事全力反撲，可惜無法入球追近，到8分半鐘，被迪爾達警察的Daniel Matijevic反擊得手，此入球並將三菱商事信心打沉，其後Chris Chang在12及18分鐘、加上Garnet Brimacombe在16分鐘的入球，3屆亞軍迪爾達警察大勝6:0，終於打破「 老二」宿命，摘得金盃桂冠，獲中銀保誠資產管理行政總裁麥達彰先生頒發冠軍獎盃。

賽後迪爾達警察主將劉道軒指球隊自2005年參賽至今，多次與金盃冠軍擦肩而過，而三菱商事已第5年角逐，大家同樣渴望奪標。他指迪爾達警察平均年齡超過30歲，亦全靠此豐富經驗及冷靜應變，才成功克服三菱商事年輕及速度快的優點。他又盛讚香港球隊近年水準不斷提升，假以時日會是一股冰球新勢力。

香港業餘冰球會主席胡文新先生喜見香港3支冰隊伍有明顯進步，但比起金盃決賽的迪爾達警察及三菱商事的有系統訓練仍有距離。

其他賽果，銀碟冠軍由香港業餘冰球會巨人隊獲得，該隊以3:2擊敗香港冰球訓練學校騎兵隊；洋紫荊組決賽，澳門佳景樂園以2:1險勝香港業餘冰球會飛鷹隊。

BOCI-Prudential Asset Management
2010 HKAHC International Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament Successfully Completed
 Hosted by HKAHC, the BOCI-Prudential Asset Management 2010 HKAHC International Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament on Sept 17-19 took place at Kowloon Bay MegaBox. Nine teams from Canada, Japan, Macau, Manila, Taipei and Hong Kong joined the event.
This year's tournament has attracted lots of attention and was well broadcasted in the news and also in the newspapers.
After 3 days of exciting round robin and playoff matches, all the final awards are listed as follows:

Gold Cup Division:
Champion: Delta Police Bulls, 1st Runner Up: Mitsubishi Corporation & 2nd Runner Up: Taiwan International Hockey Academy

Silver Plate Division:
Champion: HKAHC Giants, 1st Runner Up: HKAIH Troopers & 2nd Runner Up: Manila Thunder

Bauhinia Division:
Champion: Macau Future Bright Amusement Park, 1st Runner Up: HKAHC Eagles & 2nd Runner Up: HAMA Club

Individual Award:
Top Scorer: Dominic Cupello of Delta Police Bulls
Best Offensive Defenseman: Dwayne Ripley of HKAHC Giants
Best Goalie: Andrew White of HKAHC Giants
Best Forward: Chris Chang of Delta Police Bulls

自2003年起，本會每年均舉辦國際業餘冰球邀請賽，過去曾邀請到來自7個地區及國家，包括：加拿大，中國，香港，日本，澳門，菲律賓和台灣的隊伍參與。

透過舉辦每屆的國際業餘冰球邀請賽（IAIHT），我們都希望能夠促進國際冰球運動的交流、推動冰球體育文化的發展，以及提高大眾對冰球運動的認識，從而使這一項運動在香港得以更廣泛的普及。

2010年第八屆國際業餘冰球邀請賽，如過往一樣已成為香港年度的體育盛事之一。多年來賽事得以舉辦成功，實在有賴本地、海外各參與球員、媒體宣傳以及廣大市民的鼎力支持。在各界友好的關注及支持下，這項比賽自2007年起更成為香港政府“香港品牌”計劃之中的項目。

國際業餘冰球邀請賽不僅為城市帶來一個既獨特又讓人興奮的體育年度盛事，更重要的是藉著賽事舉辦為香港市民注入更多的運動激情、歡欣以及可持續發展的體育項目。

The Hong Kong Amateur Hockey Club (HKAHC), was established in 2001 and is a non-profit making sport association aiming to promote the sport of ice hockey with a view to making it a sport for all in Hong Kong.

Since 2003, the Club has been hosting the annual International Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament and welcomed the teams from over 7 regions and countries, including Canada, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, the Philippines and Taiwan.

The prime objective of the International Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament (IAIHT) is to facilitate international exchange of sport culture and to enhance awareness of the sport of ice hockey with a view to promoting and developing it as a sport for all in Hong Kong.

2010, the eighth year of the Tournament, which has had gradually becoming a prevalent annual sporting event in the territory. The previous games were strongly supported by both local and overseas players and were well received by the media and the general public. The Tournament is widely reported by press each year and has been credited by the Hong Kong government’s “Brand Hong Kong” initiative since 2007.

IAIHT brings the City an unique exciting annual sporting event. It offers the people in Hong Kong a sport full of excitement, fun and gear beyond the tradition.
