Last year, we had successfully held our first ever international tournament in September, featuring 2 local HK teams, 2 teams from Japan, 1 from Macau, and 1 from Manila. It has also caught wide press and media coverage as well. More information about last year’s tournament , click HERE

The Hong Kong Amateur Hockey Association (HKAHA) International Tournament committee has set aside Sept. 18th and Sept. 19th, 2004, to host 2nd annual International Amateur Ice Hockey tournament, one of the Asian Hockey's most significant successful tournaments.

There will be a total of 3 teams representing HKAHA in the 2004 Citigroup HKAHA International Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament, with a total of 45 players. Among them, we have selected 37 HKAHL players with the most points from the following criteria over the last 2 years of HKAHL league:

40% captains recommendation
30% HKAHA league games attendance
30% penalty minutes accumulated

The reason we come up with these criteria is that not only we would like to include those top-level skilled players, but we would also like to give an opportunity to the supporters of HKAHL league, and its sportsmanship players to play in the tournament as well.

The other 8 players are recommended by the league commissioners who have been helpful to HKAHA, and we believe their participation will make the tournament more exciting and interesting.
