Typhoon or black rain occurs, is the game canceled? wWho should I ask ? |

Most of the time when typhoons or Black rain occurs on the game time, we will simply cancel it for safty reason, we do not wish to player risking their lifes just for a hockey game. Life could be very long! Any question regarding the rink availability, please call Dragon Centre SkyRink, Tel: 2307-9264. |

I think the scorekeeper made a mistake... I should have an assist on the last game, what should I do to have my point back? |

All the static for the teams, the players, and the goalies are related and calculated by the game score-sheets. If you found any problem on the static, please also check the game results and see if it's correct there. You are welcome to contact us for further inspection. We're happy to make the correction for you! However, to ensure it's fair to the others, we'll NOT get any point back for you if the original score-sheet has no such record. We recommend you to check the game result after each period, and ask your captain go talk to the referees. |

Swearing people during the games are punishable by the referees. If you hear your opponent players swear at you, please ask your captain to talk to the referee. Hopefully, the referees will then open up their ears and penalizes those impolite players. |

About this web...

About the game data & statics... When will the stats get update ? |

After the game finished, the scorekeeper will then pass the score-sheet to me, Laputa, if I were there in the rink, or fax it to me on the next day. I'll then have to key in all score-sheets into an e-spreadsheet, it will then (half) automatically update the static for the teams, goalies & players. I, then, have to export these data into html files in order to post them on web. A smarter solution would be using database type web formats like ASP, & JSP but these it would be costly to purchase those software. Display problems when using netscape on windows, mac, unix & linux ... |

This is a very tough issue, since I haven't use Netscape for a long time. As I heard, there are many viewing problems when using Netscape. Problems occurred even in some basic HTML features, such the Form objects, Table objects, and the script programming, too. I do not have any clue how I could solve these problems, but what I could do is to avoid using these feathers when possible. Most popular Internet Browsers for Mac, Unix and Linux are Netscape, I'm sure "The problems will Go On" |

How could I get my login id & password for the message board... |

All vistors are allowed to view the messges in the message board, but only members are allowed to post messges. To register, simply click "Register" at the top of the messgae board. Submit your "Name" & an "Email Address". An Password will be generated and sent to your email account within a few minutes. Notes, you may change your nickname, password, and many other personal settings in the "Profile" menu after being a member of the message board. |

I can't login to the message board after upgrading to IE6. |

It is because of the default cookie setting for the IE6 is set to "BLOCK" all sites, and the message board needs to store a cookie in your system in order to Identify you. To change the IE cookie setting, Click Tools/ Internet Options.../ Privacy /Setting and Edit setting for the "proboards2.com" to allow. That's all. |

My message got deleted, why? |

Message board will be clean once awhile, to keep the message board size small. Messages that contain foul language or dirty language will be deleted by the Board Operator without notice. |

All game scores, assists are stored in an excel file. The reason I use excel to store data because I could use the formula like "COUNTIF" & "SUMIF", to update most of the static for the teams, goalies, & players. Also, the more part I handle myself, the more errs I got, so, I simply leave most of the calculations to the computer. (But, I still made lots of errs on data entry! ^_^);
