Team Ranking and Game Points

Sorting Order: Game Wins / Goal Differential / Goal For / Penalty Min (Fewer) / Head to head

Minimum Skater per Game

  • Each team needs to have 13 Full time payment skaters plus 1 Goalie in the roster. If your team doesn't have 13 full time payment skaters the league will help your team to fill up to 13 full time payment skaters.
  • On the game night if your team does not have 13 skaters, the league has the right to fill the team up to 13 skaters based on the borrowing player system. However, each team must have a minimum of 10 skaters per team before the games starts.

Teams may borrow goalies with a lower ranking (in goalie standing or in the lower division). If this is not possible then teams borrowing goalies with higher ranking will be approved.

Notes: Team Managers MUST inform the league when you have a player/s subbing in by every Friday if your team is playing on Sundays Night or by every Sunday if your team is playing on Tuesdays Night. Last minute addition may not be allowed.

Suspension
Suspension may carry on to the next season if there were not enough games for a penalized player to serve. Players who are suspended must serve that suspension without refund of payment if they are a full time roster player.  If the suspended player is a part-time roster player, then that player must pay for the games that he is suspended for.

For example, if a player is suspended for three games for the disregard of safety to others and he is a part time roster player, he would have to pay for three games BEFORE these games start and not play those three games. (He may pay these 3 games all at once, but this payment must be made otherwise suspension will not start to count) .

Eligible for Playoffs
For AHL 2010 Summer League, there will be 6-9 games including Playoff for All divisions. All skaters (Full Time or Part Time) have to attend at least 3 games in order to become eligible to play in the playoffs. This rule does not apply to Goalies. Each player may register for only one team in each division.

RULES HIGHLIGHT for 09-10 Season

  • Any player incurring three penalties of any kind in one game shall automatically receive a Game Ejection from that game.  The Game Ejection does not carry any suspension, and is only effective for the remainder of that game.  A double-minor penalty is considered to be ONE penalty.
  • Teams who commit an icing are not permitted to change players until play has resumed.  Change of players will be permitted after an icing only if a penalty situation occurs during said stoppage, which results in a change of on-ice strength.  Change of players is still not permitted should the offending team call a Time Out.
  • Face offs following the calling of a penalty shall be conducted in the end-zone of the offending team.  In the case of co-incidental penalties, the face off shall be conducted at the point of last play.
  • Each team shall receive ONE time out per game.
  • Any player or goaltender who shoots or propels the puck directly out of play from within his own defensive zone shall automatically receive a minor penalty for Delay of Game.  This shall not apply to any situation where the puck has been shot over a section of glass which is lower than the regular end-zone glass, or into a player bench.
